Na Me Res Arts Residency
We have had the great honour of facilitating a weekly multi-media arts drop-in at Native Men’s Residence. Facilitated by Gabriella Caruso with support from Andy Moro, Jesus Mora and Solomon King. Special thanks to Na Me Res Program Director and Counselor Rachel Schilling for making this project happen. Funding for the 2010 residency was secured through the Ontario and Toronto Arts Councils.
Media include woodcut, rubber stamp and silkscreen printmaking, stone carving, drawing, painting, mosaic, clay mask-making and more. This gallery is from recent screen-printing where designs were created, scanned, digitally enhanced and printed on shirts for sale at the Na Me Res Pow Wow.
